Property Awards 2011 for commercial excellence

Property World and UBM bring to you Property Awards 2011, recognizing excellence in various facets of commercial real estate. This follows the overwhelming response and success of Property Awards  2010.

Property Awards 2011, organized by Property world online and UBM India, part of the global $2.5 billion UBM plc, seeks to honour excellence in the various facets of commercial property development. These awards are a tribute to the milestone achievements and contributions of various players in this industry who have created worldclass buildings, inspite several challenges.
 
Indian real estate market has in recent years gained prominence
with its immense potential for growth and investments. Notwithstanding the global economic uncertainties, the emerging and dynamic Asian economies have attracted investments into this sector from both domestic and foreign corporates and funds.
 
The process of choosing the awards would culminate in The Grand Awards ceremony at  JW Marriott on December 13, 2011  which will see winners in various categories honored in the presence of  industry leaders. Winners shall be chosen by an impartial jury and collegium of real estate stalwarts and professionals through a democratic process of voting on the basis of nominations received for the various categories. Global Consultants M/s Ernst and Young are the process partners for the awards. 
 
Principal Categories for the award include Luxury Commercial project of the Year., Commercial Project of the Year, Hotel Project of the Year, Eco-building of the year, Occupier of the Year (Employee Health & Safety initiatives), Occupier of the Year (Environmental Conservation initiatives), and  Office Architect of the year.
 
Additionally, recognition and honors shall also be bestowed upon the top three commercial developers of the year, top three mall developers of the year, the most trusted commercial property advisor of the year and the most trusted retail property advisor of the year. Selection shall be on the basis of the outcome of an online survey sent to the various stakeholders in the industry.
Apart from the above, two management choice awards are also on the anvil, including the Property Personality of the Year, (basis- personality who has made notable contributions to commercial spaces in India in the last 2 yrs.) and the Young Property Entrepreneur of the year, (basis- person less than 40 years age who has augmented commercial spaces in India through his contributions/achievements)
Criteria for entries would be Commercial Properties set-up in India and completed and operational between April 1, 2007 and March 31, 2011.The last date for submission of entries is November 12, 2011. For details of the awards log on to www.pwindia.in/propertyawards.
Preceding the awards ceremony, real estate experts shall hold a panel discussion on the topic,  “Commercial Real Estate: The Harbinger of growth” .
